Krysten Ritter recently tweeted that “L!fe Happens” will be opening on March 30th in New York and Los Angeles. It will then expand to additional markets on April 6th!
Not content with being a telly actress, Karl Lagerfeld’s muse and owner of the best ombre hair we’ve ever seen, Rachel Bilson has decided to launch her own range of shoes.
From leopard-print suede wedges (very Alexa Chung for Madewell) to cowboy boots, lady-like platform heels AND pointy orange flats, everything looks ruddy marvellous. Plus – yay for us! – they’re brilliantly affordable at just $79.98 (approximately £50) per pair.
The collection launches this Friday on ShoeMint.com, a brand spanking new fashion website where Rachel will share her styling tips. “As a designer, I’m always exploring new mediums and footwear is a category I’ve always been very passionate about” says the actress. “I can’t wait to wear all the shoes!” And neither can we.

Rachel Bilson is scheduled to be a presenter at the 2nd Annual American Country Awards. The American Country Awards will air live from Las Vegas on December 5 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX.
The CW is on a full-season pickup tear today.
On the heels of Ringer‘s back-nine order, the network has greenlit full seasons of fellow rookie dramas Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle.
“We believe in the creative strength of these dramas, and by giving them back nine orders we can give our audience the chance to enjoy complete seasons of all three of them,” said CW prez Mark Pedowitz. “With compelling storylines, engaging characters and tremendous buzz, we firmly believe that Hart of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle can become signature series for The CW, the kind of top-notch shows that are synonymous with our brand.” (As opposed to, say, reality dud H8R, which was whacked after only a handful of airings.)
For those keeping track at home, Dixie, Secret Circle and Ringer join Fox’s New Girl, NBC’s Up All Night and Whitney, and CBS’ 2 Broke Girls in this fall’s full-season club.
Big congrats to the cast and crew of “Hart of Dixie” for this amazing news!
Rachel Bilson has joined BeachMint.
The actress will be a celebrity designer alongside her stylist, Nicole Chavez, for a new branch of the e-commerce brand, ShoeMint, which will see her create a range of affordable shoes.
She told WWD: “I loved the idea of designing really cute shoes that are affordable and accessible. The whole idea behind the BeachMint brand makes the online shopping experience so personal.”
While Rachel has experience in the fashion sphere, including a collaboration with DKNY Jeans, her BeachMint collaboration will be her first foray into shoe design.
Rachel follows in the footsteps of Kate Bosworth and her stylist, Cher Coulter, who launched a accessories collection for JewelMint, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen’s StyleMint and Jessica Simpson’s BeautyMint.
Kate was a “guinea pigs” for BeachMint’s business model with her range, but was confident of its success, as she was allowed to work with quality pieces.
She said: “I feel like we’re just starting to get a really good hold on this experience.
“I had no interest in signing a contract that would force me to curate pieces I found horrendous.”
BeachMint is a members only site which means it requires registrations before offering its users a monthly selection of merchandise based on their own tastes, and all available at a set price. All ShoeMint shoes will cost $79.99.
The ratings for last night’s premiere episode of “Hart of Dixie” have just come in and it seems to be good!
Over at The CW, they’re whistling Hart of Dixie, as its freshman charmer built on Gossip Girl‘s lead-in numbers, even opposite stiffer competition. (That one was for you, Walden Schmidt!)
