A while back, Kate Bosworth teamed with stylist Cher Coulter and quietly started a trendy, but affordable, jewelry line called JewelMint. Now, another celebrity is lending her name to the brand.
As part of JewelMint’s new charity initiative, Rachel Bilson has signed on as a celebrity guest curator. She has chosen a pair of gold-plated amethyst earrings—now dubbed the Rachel Earrings—which retail for $29.99. From April 15 to June 15, fifty-percent of the proceeds from their sale will be donated to the Invisible Children charity, an organization devoted to stopping children from becoming child fighters in Uganda. Rachel is excited about the collaboration and says:

They may be notoriously on-again, off-again, but Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are still very much on, denying reports that they had split.
US Magazine alleged the couple were officially over, with a source stating: ‘They’re done this time. Engagement’s over, relationship’s over. She’s really had it.’
But Rachel’s spokesperson has been quick to put an end to the rumours, stating, ‘There is no truth to this – Rachel and Hayden are still dating.’
The couple got together after meeting on the set of movie Jumper in 2007. By December 2008 they were engaged, but then split in summer 2010. They reunited in November 2010.
April 21 will be a night of super-premium premieres as the red carpet rolls out during the Tribeca Film Festival (April 20—May 1) for the debut of an original film series by Karl Lagerfeld, starring Rachel Bilson, marking the U.S. introduction of Magnum ice cream. Simultaneous to the exclusive premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, the lead film will be released to viewers around the world on Magnum’s Facebook page.
“Karl Lagerfeld’s creative vision has always inspired me, and this series brings his concept of pleasure to life,” said Rachel Bilson. “The films capture the indulgence and luxury of Magnum ice cream. My character believes that a day without pleasure is a day lost, and that’s a perfect representation of the Magnum lifestyle—and my personal philosophy, too.”
In the sensory-rich films, Rachel Bilson plays the heroine in three distinct vignettes. ‘Photo Mood’ features her as an annoyed famous model who finds the pleasure she’s been seeking in the form of a smooth and delicious Magnum ice cream bar. ‘Applause’ stars Rachel as a world-renowned prima ballerina who, when unexpectedly faced with an over-zealous throng of fans and the amorous embrace of her boyfriend, played by internationally renowned model Baptiste Giabiconi, evades them all to savor a moment for herself by enjoying a Magnum bar. In ‘Art Class,’ Bilson is an art student obsessed by her strong desire for a Magnum ice cream bar, and is then inspired to create a beautiful work of art as she satisfies her craving.
The first trailer of the films will post on the Magnum ice cream Facebook page on April 19, ahead of the films’ premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival and on Facebook.
Rachel Bilson also appears in global print and television advertising. The print ad, which debuts in May, is shot through the creative lens of Karl Lagerfeld and brings the pleasure of enjoying Magnum ice cream to life in the high-style manner for which he’s famous. This campaign will showcase striking visuals of Bilson with decadent Magnum ice cream bars. The television spot will debut in late April.
Rachel Bilson says she’s “freaking out” about hitting 30.
She also said that being a mum, when she eventually has children, will be her “most important job”.
The star, who reaches the landmark age in August, told the Australian edition of Madison: “I am sort of freaking out. I thought I wasn’t going to, but a lot of my friends are a couple of years older than me and they’re not helping! They keep saying, ‘You’re next’. So I keep saying, ‘What’s going to change? Will I implode or something?’ My 20s have been good to me, I have to say.”
She added: “I do believe if you come back and talk to me as I’m about to turn 40, I’ll have kids and be married. I think when I become a mum that will be my most important job – and I’m looking forward to it. As for when that will be, I don’t know. I’m just going to keep moving forward.”
Rachel Bilson will reunite with The O.C. creator-executive producer Josh Schwartz this pilot season after all: The actress is close to a deal to star in Hart Of Dixie, The CW’s hourlong pilot produced by the Gossip Girl duo of Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
Hart Of Dixie is a comedic drama centered on a young New York City doctor (Bilson) who inherits a medical practice in a small Southern town inhabited by an eclectic and eccentric group of characters.
Earlier this development season, Bilson was attached to star in Ghost Angeles, a supernatural romantic comedy for NBC co-written by Schwartz; that pilot ultimately didn’t go forward.
Bilson previously has done arcs on Schwartz’s NBC dramedy Chuck as well as CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, where she played a love interest for Ted Mosby.

Her new film about childhood friends who reunite later in life looks to capitalize on Bilson’s natural likability (the camera really, really loves this girl), while recapturing some of the magic that made Summer Roberts so darn crushable. If not, we’re sure there’s room in former-teen-sex-symbol purgatory alongside Shannen Doherty, who’s currently filming the TV movie Witchslayer. On second thought…
